Researching a location

Finding a suitable venue is only half the battle. Once you've chosen your location, do your research. You need to make sure that it has a suitable haunted history and that your guests are likely to experience some kind of paranormal activity, although this can never be guaranteed due to the nature of the paranormal.

The more you know about the location, the better. Find out as much as possible about the ghosts you may encounter. When do they appear? Where have they been spotted? How do they make their presence known? Do they communicate, and how?

Details about the hauntings of a building can be found in several places, you should ask the venue owner for information about ghost sightings and paranormal activity and, if possible, contact previous owners.
