Electronic speech synthesis

There are many electronic speech synthesis devices on the market, but they tend to be quite expensive. However, there are cheaper versions available as apps for smartphones. They work as either random word generators or by generating random sounds, the phonics that make up words. Supposedly, spirits can affect the random nature of these devices to form the words they are trying to say.

Most devices of this type use atmospheric sensors to generate their random output. They monitor conditions such as temperature, pressure, humidity, and electromagnetic flux. It uses these signals as a random number generator, and this number is in turn used to reference a database of words. The atmospheric sensors give the spirits another way to influence the random word.
